Job Title: Guest Services Manager
Start Date: June 29, 2026 End Date: August 22-September 4, 2026 (dependent on candidate availability)
Hours: 35 hours/week. Must be available evenings and weekends. Schedule will be set with candidate at the beginning of contract based on availability.

Pay Scale: Commensurate with experience. $20/hour minimum
Job Description: Theatre Baddeck is looking for a Guest Services Manager to join our summer team. This individual will independently manage all aspects of front of house with mentorship and support from Co-Artistic Producer Hannah Ziss. This will include, but not be limited to:

Supervising all volunteer bartenders, ushers, and box office attendants as on the on-duty front of house (FOH) manager during our 8-show per week schedule

As on-duty FOH manager, responding to patron concerns, requests, questions, and issues as they arise during the performance while delivering exemplary customer service

Having set hours as the Box Office (BO) manager, which includes answering the box office phone, selling tickets over the phone, responding to queries, and greeting customers in person at the theatre

Managing bar inventory, which will include performing weekly inventory, ordering product, and stocking shelves

Assisting Co-Artistic Producer Hannah Ziss with the FOH schedule and various marketing duties as they arise
Candidate Qualifications:

Must be 19+ and either have or be willing to obtain Serve Right Training before start of contract (at Theatre Baddeck’s expense)

Access to a vehicle and/or a valid driver’s license an asset but not required

Willingness to engage with the public and represent Theatre Baddeck positively to our customers

A background in customer service

Mostly, we are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn and work independently as part of a larger team!
