Steve Maloney

Theatre Baddeck: Debut. Bio: Steve Maloney is a musician and actor hailing from St. John’s, NL. His work as a songwriter has earned awards from MusicNL, and the Borealis Music Prize, along with a stint as Dawson City’s songwriter in residence. He can be heard on NL releases from Nico Paulo, Rube & Rake, Tim Baker, and many more. Maloney has also composed for short films, and a series for Bell Fibre1 called The Golden League. On stage he has been fortunate to play Roger in TaDa’s production of Rent, Jesus in the Majestic Theatre’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar, workshop and tour nationally with Artistic Fraud’s production Between Breaths, and take part in many new works with Terra Bruce Productions, including; The Wild Rovers, and An American Hymnal.
